Credential Use
Use your credential to obtain admittance to official game-sanctioned events such as press conferences, practices and hospitality events.

Game Day Entrance
The media entrance on game day is in Gate 4 at the Los Angeles Coliseum. All bags entering the stadium are subject to be searched. Please allow extra time for entry into the stadium on game day.

Internet Policy
No online internet service will be allowed for "real time" transmission of the Angel City Classic. Only contractual rights-fee paying media will be allowed "real time" transmission during the event. "Real Time" is defined as any online media providing live continual play-by-play coverage of an event. Other than the official website of the Angel City Classic and each participating institution, only one credential may be assigned to a website that is affiliated with a national media outlet (i.e., network, newspaper, etc.). No other internet provider shall be credentialed for the Farmers Angel City Classic.

Parking/Shuttle
A limited number of parking passes, issued on a priority basis, for use by the media on game day are available.

Parking passes can be applied for during the credential application process.

Parking passes will be distributed during the week prior to the game. Directions to the reserved media lots will be handed out along with the passes. Lost parking passes will not be replaced.

Phone Lines
The press box at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum will be equipped with courtesy phones for media use. The phone lines are toll-restricted.

Photography Regulations
Photo passes will be issued only to accredited photographers and videographers on assignment and photographers authorized by the Farmers Angel City Classic. Photo passes grant access to the press box. Under NCAA rules, photographers are not allowed between the 25-yard lines and must remain outside the restraining lines surrounding the playing field. ARM BANDS ARE REQUIRED TO SHOOT PHOTOGRAPHS ON THE FIELD. Arm bands can be obtained during time of check in at Gate 4 prior to kick-off. You may not obtain an armband without a TV/Photo credential.

Email completed form to media@angelcityclassic.com or fax to 877-623-2227 by no later than 5 pm (PST) on Friday, September 19, 2008.

You will receive an email confirmation that your credential request has been received.

Approved media outlets will be notified by no later than September 24, 2008 via email with additional instructions.

If approved, to obtain your media credential you must:

Be present at Media Registration to receive your credentials, thus one person cannot obtain media credentials for all members of his or her media agency.

Present a government issued photo ID.

Sign your name on the credential registration form.

Please Note: For security reasons, credentials will only be issued to the recipients named on the credential application.

Angel City Classic set to shake up Los Angeles
Morehouse vs. Prairieview, ‘5th Quarter’ concert

Get ready, Los Angeles–the Farmer’s Insurance Angel City Classic (ACC) is coming straight to the Los Angeles Coliseum Sept. 27th for the third straight year and it promises to be bigger and better than ever.

The Classic, expected to be the largest gathering of African Americans for a sporting event in the country, will feature two of the mightiest historically black colleges and university football teams ever to step foot on a gridiron–the Morehouse College Tigers and Prairie View A&M Panthers.

It will be the clash of the titans as both historic schools gear up to go head to head in a spectacular game that will no doubt keep the crowd enthralled and roaring for more.

“This year, we’re expecting a crowd upwards of 70,000,” said Mark Moore, spokesperson for the Classic. “People are already excited. We’ve been getting calls from people in Vegas, Atlanta, Texas and northern California who are looking forward to attending and cheering on their favorite team. The Classic is unique because it is the only chance that people on the West Coast will get to experience the black college experience.”

Half time will feature the spectacular drum line and the battle of the bands featuring Morehouse’s Band of Funk and Prairie View A&M’s band Marching Storm. It will be an event to remember as each school delivers riveting performances before thousands of cheering fans. Actor, writer and producer Nick Cannon of “Drumline” fame has signed on as this year’s master of ceremonies. Cannon, along with his “Stop Hating” movement, has joined the fight for education by partnering with the producers of the annual event.
